Nasty Canuck is operated by Nasty Canuck Media Inc., a Canadian corporation.

We respect the privacy of our readers and subscribers. We collect only the personal information we reasonably need to operate the publication, deliver requested services, understand how the site is being used, and meet our legal and security responsibilities.

Information we collect

If you subscribe to a Nasty Canuck newsletter or use our member sign-in features, we may collect your email address, name if provided, newsletter preferences, membership status and other account information needed to provide those services.

If we introduce paid memberships or other features that require additional personal information, we will provide appropriate notice and update this policy as needed before using that information for materially different purposes.

When you visit the site, our publishing, hosting and analytics systems may process technical and usage information such as page views, referral sources, general location information, browser or device details, and other information needed to operate, secure and measure the publication.

If you are signed in as a member, our publishing platform may associate your account with content you view so we can understand reader engagement. If newsletter analytics are enabled, we may also receive information about newsletter delivery, opens and link clicks.

Email and subscriptions

You control whether you receive Nasty Canuck email.

When consent is required, we will obtain it before sending commercial electronic messages. Our emails will include appropriate identification information and an unsubscribe mechanism as required by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails. We will process valid unsubscribe requests without delay and no later than 10 business days after receiving them.
